At the age of 6 when his parents gave him drumsticks Peter Moslener started banging on everything that was around. Later on though he started learning many other instruments... When returning from the Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) he founded the Backes & Moslener Music Production with his friend & partner Daniel Backes in 1997.

Daniel Backes was taught how to play the cello at the age of five by his father, a professional cello player. He then learned to play the guitar, the electric bass and the keyboards. Since the age of 14, he is fascinated by composing and producing music for a wide variety of genres, such as music for television, pop, advertising, film, jingles and any other electronic media. He also gives workshops on media composition from time to time. After his degree in sound and vision engineering he founded Backes & Moslener Music Production, together with his business partner Peter Moslener.
